Dario Amodei
AI Safety · Large Language Models · Interpretability · b. 1983 · American
Physicist turned AI-safety entrepreneur leading Anthropic's mission to build steerable, interpretable frontier models.
Biography
Dario Amodei led GPT-2 and GPT-3 research at OpenAI before departing with his sister Daniela and a cohort of safety researchers to found Anthropic in 2021. He authored 'Machines of Loving Grace,' arguing AI could compress decades of biomedical progress into a few years, while simultaneously calling for hard regulation of frontier systems.
